Were the people who believed the "Population Bomb" right?

posted Sunday, 28 October 2007
Much about global warming is questionable.  What is clear from Katrina to the California fires is that we are now a much more populous society where weather problems affect many more people.  This is the most important thing to think about when we hear about all the problems--The solution is not to get rid of the people but to make sure to plan for the size of the population when we do disaster planning.

There is some truth to global warming, however, it's because the sun and earth's core is growing hotter. It's just a naturally occurring phenomenon, from what I understand. Whatever effect our cars have on it is very small if anything. We certainly could not stop global warming with our own efforts. Also, global warming if it gets too bad will stop because the earth would pull in cloud cover and start global cooling.

I believe that's the basic gist of what scientists other than Al Gore say.

I also like what you have to say, it's a very valid point that we never think about these days.
