I am trying to plan a vacation for summer and I am wondering if the blog audience can help me. Where should a couple without children stay at Disney World? Has anyone been their recently? Should we book through Disney or use a travel agent who knows Disney? Any help would be appreciated.
I have been to Disney many times and have had the best luck with a travel
agent at destinationsinflorida.com. Her name is Allison and she knows the
parks and surrounding area inside and out. She grew up in Orlando area and
did her residencies at Disney World so has the inside scoop on all the
parks. You can contact her through the website but I can tell you, you
won't be disappointed
stay at the beach club yacht club....walk to epcot back entrance 5
minutes...best pool in disney...walking distance to all night life espn
club jelly rolls...etc.. and boat to mgm...less kids
I haven't been to Disney World, but I have a friend who goes there twice a
year. She also worked there for a while. She says that the Disney staff
are really nice and easy to work with. Also, staying on property is worth
the extra money according to her. There are several resorts that cater
more to adults and are close to various things (depending on what you're
interested in seeing most). She suggests Boardwalk (lots to do there with
entertainment etc., walking distance to Epcot), Wilderness Lodge (not the
campground, is very peaceful), or Saratoga Springs (near downtown Disney).
That's about all I know.
