How can anyone really support Obama?

Two of my students confused Obama and Osama.  If that is the case Obama may really be in trouble since I spent a lot of time making it clear who was who.  On a different point, I read one of Obama's books and a liberal civil rights attorney before he got into politics.  Those people who think Obama is anything except a traditional liberal is kidding themselves.  So many people think that Obama is something new when he is just slick.  Remember the problems with our last slick president.

By "our last slick president", I assume you mean George W. Bush and not Reagan, Nixon or Clinton. Your innuendo is too vague for assumption.

But, assuming you are not being disingenuous and refer to George W. Bush, may I remind you that a slick Disaster Capitalist Republican is in no way comparable to a clever person with the well-being of the people at heart. Why people cannot see the differences between Republicans and Democrats, even Democrats who are corrupt like Republicans, is beyond me! Those differences do exist. It is to the advantage of Republicans to state there are none.

If you are not referring to GWB, then it is you, who are too clever by half.

Tobacco: The term "slick" obviously refers to "Slick Willy." Maybe you're not old enough to remember that was a nickname for Bill Clinton.

In response to the actual post: Too bad for Obama. I always thought his name might face some problems there. At least it doesn't rhyme with Hitler.

"Slick Willy" was applied by Republicans. I point out GOP-types, who deserved the title more. Thanks for the compliment though, but I do remember the 90s. I wish we could get them back. Things have been horrible since "Slick Willy" left 1600. The real "Slickster" is still in residence there. You were a victim of PROPAGANDA; that's why you now have an Uncompassionate, Unconservative, Unfeeling, Genocidal, Thieving Hitleresque Disaster Capitalist Slickster in the White House. I hope you are happy and satisfied. Next time don't swallow the propaganda without thought. I am always refreshed when I do my own thinking!
