Urlacher according to ESPN has sign an extension through 2012.  Good News.  Now we need to sign our first round pick.

Gore wants us to be off oil in 10 years which is wrong.  But he is right that part of it is wind, solar, water but the other part is public transportation, nuclear, drilling.  In other words, we can help the environment and become energy independent in 10 years if we do it all.  There is no way we can get energy independent just on solar, wind, and water.  So, if Gore really wants to help the environment he should work on a grand compromise but he would rather be a star on the left than really getting anything done.  The fact that Gore really does not want to get anything done should be apparent since as Vice-President he never got anything done on the environment and when he ran for President he almost never mention the environment.  In Chicago we called people like that a faker.

I just found out that someone I really liked died today.  I have heard that my boss, my friend, and a real scholar died in a car accident.  Until I can confirm this I will not post his name but I am really sad.

I just got an email.  My friends name is David Warren Bowen and it is a great loss to us all.

Congress usually takes August off.  President Bush should keep them in Washington until they pass a real energy bill.  We need a grand bill with everything solar, wind, conservation, nuclear, and of course drill, drill, drill!
